TSKD 183 Released

It’s done. (★`・ω・)ゞ

“System Announcer” needs to be reworded in English as its too literal and sounds horrible. Do you guys have any suggestions? I was thinking of “System Voice,” or maybe “Syslog.” The more name-like, the better.

  1. Knee-jerk reaction is to combine bits and pieces of system and announcer
    SystAnn
    Syster
    AnnStem
    Stemcer

    If you add in”voice”
    Voystcer
    Voicer
    Noice
    Vysner

    For some non-letter-scramble kinda things
    Disembodied-Voice
    Status-Narrator
    Auto-Voice
    SysRec(order)
    SysNote
    SysAssist

  2. I don’t know about novels, but in business, translations should be as close to the original as possible. Changes should be made when the literal translation is hard to understand or distracting, like for grammar or when there are no compatible words. Just my opinion, but “System Announcer” sounds OK to me.

    1. Or at least that’s what I was told by a telephone translator who were paid at place I used to work at. Maybe that was just his opinion.

      1. I change my comment, I did some Googling and it sounds like every career translator has a different opinion on how literal translations should be. But I still think system announcer is OK.

  3. I like the whole “Siri” idea, but how about “Voice”? it’s simple, tell us that it’s something we hear and sounds like a name.

  4. How about something nice and basic like “system-san”. I mean the novel doesn’t mention a nickname so forcibly naming it seems weird. Plus it goes well with the mc being named master
