I have, however, seen some success in my newfound hobby: hoarding old cyberstep accounts.
I was honestly stuck between localizing the sword’s name and keeping it. I still can’t decide. It kind of sounds lame in Japanese, but I have the sneaking suspicion that non-native speakers would disagree with me.
This is also probably the last chapter for a little more than a week. I have to leave for a week-long conference on Sunday. I’ll try to churn out something before then, but no promises since I still have to touch up my portfolio.
My business cards arrived today. I tried to stick to a really simple black and white design to make it retain a professional sorta feel, but, seeing them in person, they honestly just feel kind of bland.
Preparing for GDC is tiring. I have to make sure my resume and portfolio are up to date, print business cards, and I even had to make/print a poster for some prize I won.
Welp, here’s to hoping that going gets me employed.
