Steam sale should be tomorrow. I know it’s never going to happen, but I hope they discount the Index. I mean, it’s not that farfetched given that they have discounted the steam controller before, right…?

Even though I bought it this year, I need to be on the lookout for another VR set because of the oculus TOS. I don’t want to link my facebook account just to play VR

Yeah, plenty of Oculus becoming paperweights for perceived slights by Facebook “progressives.”

I just try not to use my facebook account at all. It’s the only social media account I have because of trying to get something for crackdown 1 or 2. I have no reason for others.

Steam controller went on discount because Valve wanted to blow out the old inventory before they introduced a new version. Not saying the index can’t go on sale, just there were extenuating reasons for the controller to do so.
